My dear cousin Susan discovered a couple of pictures of my paternal grandmother in a family album. I had never seen pictures of her at this age and was thrilled that Susan shared them with me. The one with Grandma getting on the horse I think is the only picture I have seen of her with a smile on her face. I wish it could be seen better, but this picture gives some insight to the times she was living. I would guess these pictures were taken around 1920. She was born in 1902. I am not sure who was in the pictures with her. I would guess the boy by the horse may have been her younger half-brother. I am thrilled to have these pictures. Thanks for sharing Susan!
