Ally is 8 years old today!The party began with a lunch of pizza and carrots. Then later we had some of Ally's special treat.
She usually has German chocolate cake for her birthday, but decided on something different this year. Instead she had Andrea make a special treat that had rice krispies, peanut butter and chocolate frosting. It was good but very rich. I could only take a couple of bites then follow up with some water....but enjoyed those bites. yum! There were also cupcakes for those who are more traditional.
Ally has some very nice friends who gave some really sweet cards with personal messages in them along with some nice gifts.
This was about as 'normal' a picture as she was willing to let me take. :-)We love you, Ally!
The girls divided into two groups for a contest to see who could wrap their 'mummy' the fastest with toilet paper.After they were done, they posed with some silly faces.
(Anyone notice how tall she is next to her friends!?!)
It was a fun afternoon and I was happy I was invited to be there.An added side note:
When Ally got off the bus, she ran to give me a hug and introduced me to her friends as her pal.
What a sweet 'pal' she is to me!
