Yes, I'm at it again. I have been browsing the internet and came across this recipe that excited me. As a kid, I remember my mom serving spiced apple rings and I liked them.Also, for years I have had a punch recipe that calls for their use, but could not find them when I wanted them. Stores just don't carry them. I decided that they would be a nice addition to a holiday table and/or for gift giving for the holidays. Tonight I made them and canned them in half pint jars. I did a half recipe and got 16 jars. I haven't tasted them yet, but I did taste the syrup....yum!
Tomorrow I am going to trying something else that most people would consider very odd to can.
But I figure it is worth trying. Stay tuned! :-)
