Cookies anyone?

As the cooler weather sets in and the kids are off to school...grandma is feeling like being in the kitchen...there is something about fall that pulls me to the oven. So yesterday I decided to make cookies. George likes to take several with him to work and of course the kids love cookies when visiting grandma. I decided I didn't want to make the usual kinds so I went on a search for something a little different but familiar. Yesterday it was applesauce raisin cookies...then this morning I used up some over-ripe bananas and made some banana-chocolate chip cookies. I now have cookies in the freezer all bagged up for lunches and also ready for when someone comes by the house. Who knows...I may make more cookies before the week is out. It just seems like cookie making season!
